Fix corrupt profile windows server 2003
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. If you don't see Local Users and Groups, it's probably because that snap-in hasn't been added to Microsoft Management Console.

No one can really tell you what to do without more information, specifically the SQL Server errors. I would check with the GPO guys that the policies are set correct and that they are applied correct. I've checked the GPOs and they look good.
GPO doesn't explain why it works fine for some users and not others, given that they have the same GPOs applied to them. Plus if I all I do is rename the username. Office Office Exchange Server.

In reply to chrisf70's post on November 23, We are currently in the middle of a long support call to Microsoft to try and get this issue resolved. However MS are trying to lay the blame at the door of our McAfee and Symantec products on the Win Server member server that the profiles are located on.
The Symantec product is Backup Exec v10, this server is backed up over the network. MS have asked us to disable these two products at the end of business tonight, bring the server back up and then see if the issue continues. We are not hopeful of a resloution based on this as with the above posts, our initial problems started when IE8 was released. Do any of you have these products installed on your member servers where your profiles are located?
