Qbeez christmas tree box template
If your cutting machine does not have the scoring option, hide those layers and score the box by hand with your scoring board and stylus after you cut it.
The scoring feature is really useful when making paper crafts like boxes. Attach your score lines to your box layer. Do this again with your top box layer and score lines. Cut and remove your design from the mat. The cardstock comes right off this right! After the boxes are cut, fold along the score lines.
Cut out a square piece of craft plastic or your cellophane plastic to fit inside the lid of the box. Use tape or glue to adhere the clear plastic to the inside of the lid. You can also use different colored cardstock instead of the clear plastic to hide the contents inside your Christmas box.
Use the small tabs to tape each box piece together. Just fill these boxes with Christmas gifts or treats and they are ready to go! Styling for Christmas We used an artificial tree this year and placed it right inside the box. Active Time: 2 hours. Total Time: 2 hours. Difficulty: Easy. Tools Table saw or circular saw Kreg pocket hole jig Drill.
Attach side panels to the inside edge of the front and back panels using pocket holes. Attach the legs to the inside corners of the box with 2" sticking out from the bottom. Use wood glue and nails to attach. Attach trim to all sides using nails. Drop base into box to rest on top of legs. Stain as desired. Did you make this project? Simply cut your paper to size, print, cut and assemble.
Because who wants a generic gift box for the holidays when you could have a sweet handmade one instead?
I used the Jolly Holidays range from First Edition. You can find the 12 x 12 inch paper pad in-store at The Works or online and in-store at The Range.
Free Printable Template makes a 6 x 6 x 6 cm square box. Ruler and an Embossing Tool although an old ballpoint pen or butter knife works well too. This page contains some affiliate links. Print out the template onto the back blank side of your paper.
Thank you so much for sharing, love the box! PS: I went to check out the alphabet stamps and they are currently unavailable on Amazon… Yes you do! Ha ha. Thanks for the heads-up about the alphabet stamps. I updated the link with a set of upper-case letters in the same style that are in stock! Oh, thanks. May your day today be filled with moments of expectancy and calm as you prepare for the celebration of His birth!
These are SO cute! I love how the little tree sticks out of the top. Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
